A night in one of the UK’s most haunted prisons !
So this experience included a two hour tour of the whole prison and then free roaming from when the tour finished which was around 12am
We arrived at 8pm and were shown to our cells for the night
We then headed to the restaurant which was open from 8-10pm,
Bedding was not provided other than the mattress and a cover – pillows and duvet covers you had to provide.
We were lucky enough to have running tap water in the room to brush teeth etc with, but some rooms dont have that.
Also there are toilets in the rooms which must not be used !
10pm is when the guided tours of the prison began.
The food in the restaurant was at an extra cost, overall it wasn’t expensive, alcohol was available to buy too.
The tour itself was really good and informative
After the tour, we roamed around in the dark with torches and explored various parts to the prison which was fun !
The breakfast was free – included in the experience, it wasn’t very varied and there was only two options – sausage or bacon on baps
The cost of the night behind bars is around £65 each
