Netley Hall Estate

Drive to was easy from Cheshire no motorways. Upon approach it’s a single track into the hotel and single track back out.

We stayed at Netley Hall Estate for one night in their swimming pool suite room, the cost on booking.com was £408, this included breakfast.

Upon entering the hotel there wasn’t a clear reception area, as we checked in after 3pm due to the check in being 5pm for that room, we were told reception staff would have gone.

The room itself was basic for the price, overall the furniture seemed a bit random some period and some modern.
Tea making facilities were good.
The TV was a smart TV and had sky with it though not sky movies just channels, so didn’t use it.

No room service, and food isn’t available unless you use a le carte dining at £31.50 pp. There was a nice pub down the road we used named Dorringtons Horseshoes I would recommend this it was a 20 Min walk away.

The bed cover was dirty and we tried to use the phone to dial reception with no avail, so we had to leave the room to query this – we were given a new bed cover.
The bathroom has a large table with separate areas to the shower room and toilet. The toilet was very cold and had no extra heating in, in the shower room there’s no table for you to put anything in. Overall for this type of room a bath should be there.

The swimming pool area is nice, the pool is a nice size, the jacuzzi could have been hotter. There could be more decoration in that area as it looks very basic. Could have been a table to put drinks. The pool shuts at 10.30 but opens at 7.30.
Buffet breakfast was ok, would have been good to know on the website this was the case as don’t really like buffet breakfasts.

Overall the staff were friendly and would go again but in summer.
